Langson Library Undergoes a Facelift

One of the original buildings on the UCI campus, Langson Library, was showing its age. The building's exterior had not undergone any significant renovation in its forty-year life. This renovation consisted of fresh elastomeric coating which makes the exterior look "fresh and new" explained project manager Kyoko Adachi.

Formerly called the Main Library, the building is named for Jack Langson, a Newport Beach entrepreneur and donor of a leadership gift to the library. Commenting on his gift to the University, Langson, president and owner of Investment Building Group, said that …” improving the library is strengthening the intellectual heart of the university.”
