Here's some of the feedback received. These thoughts confirm our beliefs about the value of campus appearance and its role in making a good first impression:

I just read the article about Jim Hay and his years at UCI.  Please let Mr. Hay know that the pride he and the staff take in caring for UCI is very obvious.  As the parent of a freshman, we visited many campuses…UCI was the most beautiful and well cared for.  Please know that we were of the belief that any campus that concentrated on the details would be a great place to go to school.  Please keep up the great job.

Jim, I enjoyed reading the article about you on "our" website. The campus is beautiful and we are all proud of it. Thanks to you for keeping it so lovely.
