Energy Management

The Energy Management unit provides services related to utility billing and energy use, and defines and implements energy efficiency measures. The unit also works with Facilities Management trades, Design & Construction Services, and campus customers to optimize energy consumption and plan strategically for future growth. Services include:

• Implement Strategic Energy Program
• Implementing energy metering and submetering
• Implementing UCI Smart Labs Initiative
• Manage DFA Special Projects
• Planning and implementation of energy consumption reduction projects
• Utility consumption tracking and reporting
• Utility consumption reduction project planning and implementation
